Delsym: 12 Hour Cough Relief

Yes, I’m still sick. And yes all the reviews I want to write require focus and thought to write. So instead I’m focusing on something quick and easy.

I just returned from a cruise where I was starting to believe my sickness was near its end. Cue the deep coughs. My theory is that a lot of people on the cruise were coughing, so I picked up a new strain just while my old one was subsiding.

I’ve always used Delsym in the past and found it to work well. The orange flavor is oddly pleasant and unlike most cough medicine, I enjoy the flavor. However, it’s not doing the trick today. After taking and letting a few hours elapse, my cough is still very much present. This may be more than what an OTC medicine can handle. Regardless, I feel let down on what usually would do the trick.
