Sugared Lemonade & Blueberry Sugar Candle

It has the word sugar in it twice, but will it have everything nice?

The first thing about the candle is that as the wax melts it has a nice blue consistency to it. It makes me wanna pour some out into a Bundt cake mold to make the most delicious desert. However, it is candlewax and that would probably make me go to the hospital.

So the candle is very well blueberry and leaves no doubt. The lemonade is a bit more subtle. It smells as if you put that wax in the oven to make a blueberry cake. I’m in Willy Wonka‘s Wonderland as I close my eyes. I can see a blueberry river. I can see trees full of blueberry. I can see a slide going into a blueberry ball pit and another whiff gives me the image of an Oompa Loompa with a blueberry stomach he uses to bounce around on.

I eat blueberries all the time. I have them in oatmeal, with yogurt and granola, or even as a sweet treat when frozen with heavy cream. Still, I don’t think it’s a universally loved smell that I’d want to subject others to over a less offensive choice. Good thing I’m home alone today.
