My first out of state coffee review! Hope you’re suited up (or down if you wanna be cozy) for this one.
The vibes here are chill and friendly. It was cold in New York, so we ordered and got a window seat to watch dripped up people walk by. Shortly after being sat, a very dapper man brought us a water carafe. The music was samurai champloo esque with hip-hop lofi type beats. I can get used to this

I went with the gingerbread latte half sweet while Amelia got a flat white. Mine was pretty solid. It had that classic gingerbread flavor without being overwhelming. It was a great holiday drink for our visit and it easily beat Starbucks with a great milk/espresso ratio. I wouldn’t put it in the can’t get enough of category, but still a good drink. Amelia said her flat white was rich and full bodied without being too acidic. It really let the espresso shine.
If you’re in the area I’d say stop by, but I also wouldn’t go out of my way to come here. One final note is that we overheard a girl bringing her friend in for her birthday. The barista told her that her bday drink was on the house which was a very nice gesture.
