On a visit to Georgetown Texas with my boo thang and we need a caffeine fix before our trip home. Luckily she knows a place.
Sweet Lemon is a beautiful cafe/coffee shop that is just what we needed. You can either get in the queue outside for a table or walk inside and order at the barista counter. Everyone here is extremely friendly and my only gripe is that there isn’t really a good waiting area after you order. We had to stand against the wall so everyone else could walk past.

I went with their specialty lemon drop latte. They use beans from summer moon and the drink came out quickly. The drink includes lemon, lavender, and vanilla with a sweet cold foam. All three flavors are pronounced with the lemon thankfully coming through the most. I asked if it was really sweet and they said no so I ordered as is. I think it was a little too sweet for my taste, but only a smidge. The foam made this very creamy and it tasted almost like a desert. Very reminiscent of spring and if you love lemons then you’ll love this. Overall a fun drink.
We also ordered a breakfast croissant (came with a fruit cup) and lemon poppyseed scone. I was sick this day and so that probably wasn’t fair to the food with my state of mind, but I thought the croissant tasted normal. Nothing special stood out to me.

I also wasn’t that into the scone. It tasted very cakey and lacked lemon flavor. Amelia agrees but also says that’s just how scones are and to picture eating it while drinking some tea. I think I’m just not a scone guy. Either way, I’m not going to factor the food too much into the score because of my state.
